  • To ensure effective #metallurgical performance in process execution through process monitoring/analysis and the development and/or implementation of improvement projects in a defined environment. 

  • To manage allocated operations management functions related to e.g. processing plants, laboratory and product handling.

  • To assist plant operations in achieving reliable operational business performance and improved operational execution. 

  • To support the operations team in the achievement of physical standards related to plant operations in order to perform at throughput, cost, product quality and process efficiency. 

  • To support the operations team with guidance on plant operating rules and procedures that will support stable and improved performance. 

  • To support the metallurgical process performance program with the execution of audits and assessments, tracking and trending performance as well as analysing and correcting performance.

Business Performance and Operations

Assume responsibility for Metallurgical process development/process design toward supporting the need to meet production targets within production and maintenance schedules

Compliance, Governance and Assurance

Establish an effective methodology of business operations, communications and control whereby statutory compliance and appropriate mitigation of risk is achieved

Continuous Improvement

Initiate continuous improvement initiatives leading to cost saving opportunities whilst keeping abreast of new developments and technology within the specialist field
