Available Job - Coal Mine, South African Operation
POSITION SYNOPSIS:
Provides specialist advice and executes tasks associated with ensuring a robust change control and document management process exists and is followed in the Operation, to enable the accurate maintenance of the Operation’s blue print, reflecting any approved modifications of its plant, equipment and infrastructure.
REQUIREMENTS:
Serious contenders will have a Degree/BTECH/National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
with a minimum of 3 - 7 years’ experience in an Underground and Surface Mining/Plant environment;
In depth knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act and Mechanical Drawing standards is essential;
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develop technical documentation (incl. engineering standards, specifications, procedures, control system programs and drawings) from which the Operation is designed, constructed, operated, and maintained;Governs and controls all technical documentation (incl. engineering standards, specifications, procedures, control system programs and drawings) from which the Operation is designed, constructed, operated, and maintained;To provide a simple, integrated, effective system for change management;To maintain consistent management in the change management process to allow consistent decision making and communications;
